Buddy - Mental Health App for Teenagers
This app aims to help teenagers struggling with their mental health, by providing a safe and secure platform for individuals to express their feelings and emotions, anonymously while providing an opportunity to connect with mentors (buddies) based on their needs and interests.
Our team developed and presented this business idea and won the first prize (see certificate below) at the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) program for 2021. Being the winning team, we have been invited to present at the TYE Global finals in the US in 2022.
This GoFundMe will assist with the costs of developing and hosting this app which will form the centre-piece of our final pitch at the global finals. This is a great opportunity to support Australia by showcasing how local young entrepreneurs are looking to make an impact in Australian’s Tech start-up ecosystem.
TiE Melbourne is part of a global, not for profit network of entrepreneurs operating in 60+ cities around the world, united behind a mission of fostering entrepreneurship by having experienced entrepreneurs help early stage entrepreneurs with mentoring, connections, education and investment. More information about TiE Melbourne and the TYE program can be found at: https://melbourne.tie.org/
We are aiming to have all funding completed by the end of 2021, so any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
