Asher's Road to Recovery

Our son Asher had an accident on March 3rd. He made his way out the front door and over to our pond where he fell in and drowned. When we noticed the front door open and he was gone we searched for him everywhere. I (mom) found him in the water with no pulse or response. Our neighbor who is an ER doctor (and our guardian angel) heard my screams and came over and started CPR before the paramedics even got to our home.

     Once he was rushed to Redlands Community Hospital they continued trying to revive him and by God's grace and mercy Asher came back to us. He was then taken to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital where the incredible team of doctors and nurses in the PICU were able to stabilize his vitals. By that evening he opened his eyes on his own and showed movement in his fingers and toes! This gives us hope for the future and his recovery!

     This will be a long road ahead but our faith has been strengthened and we are grateful for the support and community God has provided us. Our goal is to give Asher every type of rehabilitation and support he needs for a full recovery. We know God has big plans for our miracle boy!
