Christy’s Fight

Hi everyone, as many of you know, my sweet sister in law was diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma a little over a week ago. It’s a terminal diagnosis but she’s strong and ready to fight. This isn’t Christy’s first fight, In 2003 she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, 6 weeks after her son Colton was born with Down Syndrome. She asked God to give her a chance to raise her son to be an independent man who would be able to do things on his own and unassisted. God answered Christy’s prayer and not only did she beat pancreatic cancer, her son graduates high school this year! Today, Christy has a very tough fight ahead but plans to live each day to the fullest, surrounded by all who love her. 

We know how stressful medical bills can be during this difficult time and we want to help with medical expenses, which are extremely high and not completely covered by insurance. We’d also like to contribute towards longer term help for my nephew, Colton.
