I just want to tell you a story of someone who i not only consider by best friend but as a sister, and anyone one who is lucky enough to be a part of her life also considers her family not just a friend.
Jen is one of the strongest women i know, she is so independant and strong willed with the biggest heart. Jen was a single mom with three young boys who are her everything nothing and i mean nothing ever comes in between the bond of mother and sons. In October of 2012 she met the man who (at the time she didnt know) would be the one to steal her heart and complete her family.
Jen and Rob are great people not only does he accept her three boys, she accepts his two girls. This couple is a true example of what a blended family truely means.
Fast forward 2.5 years Jen and Rob are busy planning their wedding and so excited to spend the rest of their lives together. During this time Jen is starting to become sick and in pain all the time still she fought through it and was the best woman she could be. Very busy lady she was. She assumed it was all the stress of planning a wedding.
March 27th Jen married Rob in a nice casual yet intaimate cermony i have ever been too. They both looked great and was surrounded by their children, family and friends.
About a week and a half later she still wasnt feeling any better, she went to the dr and all kinds of tests where ran and she was admitted to the hospital where she would spend another almost 2 weeks. While in the hospital they were given the horrible news that she has cancer. This was the start of another roller coaster ride. Doctors coming in every day with "their thoughts" but always going from one extreme to the other. At this time the cancer is every where and they are keeping her comfortable. Even with all this she is still being the strong woman she is, and not going to give in. They are going to go to other doctors. She is also trying other natural medicines. Even though she is and i cant even just say she, her whole family are being so strong and fighting. But this is all taking a toll not only on emotions and physically, but finacially. With only one income now we all know has to be very tight. I ask not only to help a cancer patient help a person who in time of need would be the 1st their for anyone.
Just some additional information on my dear friend she is 36 almost 37 years old with 3 boys David---13 Antonio--11 and Lalo--9, 2 step daughters Selina- 18 and Leilani--13. Jen also has a large family who all are right there fighting the battle with them.
