Jenni Johnson's Support Fund

Hello all, my name is Beth El Fattal. Many of you have followed along over the past year+ since my mom, Jenni, was originally diagnosed with Stage Three Lung Cancer. You may have read the updates from my mom and family as my mom tackled treatment, immunotherapy, as she faced complications, etc. In that time, you have hurt with us, cried with us, supported us with thoughts, prayers, food, kind gestures, words, and more.

Last week, we found out that the cancer has grown and spread to further areas of her body, meaning that she is now considered Stage Four. Not only that, but her doctors are no longer discussing curative care, but symptom management and palliative care.

Writing these words is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I can't begin to tell you how painful this news is to share, to talk about, and even to think about. I've never been good at asking for help, but this is one of the moments in life that you suck it up, call in the reinforcements, and ask for what you need.

With the uncertainty of treatment costs/medical expenses, my mom's ability to comfortably work, and regular living expenses looming ahead of us, we ask for your support if you are able/willing. Anything you give will directly benefit my mom and immediate family and relieve some of the stress that accompanies news like this.

Finally, I just want to thank those of you who have supported my mom, Mark, Julie, Lucia and I. We hear you, we see you, and we love you. Thank you for showing up for my family.
