Hello,

My name is Jenna Wuthrich, I am 21 years old, and I am fundraising for a new wheelchair and have been using a power wheelchair since I was five years old.

I was born with the condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, and I have very limited use of my arms and legs; I rely on my wheelchair for everything. My chair makes it possible for me to live a freer and more independent life. It is my legs and my freedom.

Since I was five, and over the years, I have outgrown my chairs very quickly and had many technical issues with them.

My most recent chair is from 2017, and within the first two years, there have been many challenges with it.

I have always used the most basic models because they were cheaper to buy and repair but not very durable due to our Prince George roads and winter weather.

My wheelchair is my only means of transportation around my house and when I am out and about. When it breaks down, I am housebound, isolated, and depressed.

I am fundraising for a safe, durable and reliable wheelchair.

The “Sunrise Frontier V6 wheelchair”. It's an all-terrain wheelchair, so it would be able to withstand the bumpy terrain on Prince George’s sidewalks and roads.
