Friends, this morning our community has lost a dear friend, a devoted volunteer, an encouraging coach, a wonderful teacher, an inspiring cousin, lovely daughter, a loving mother and a beautiful wife. To say Jeni was part of our Western Little League family is an understatement. She is so much more to us than words can ever describe.
Jeni arrived at the Georgetown Emergency Room yesterday afternoon with flu-like symptoms. She was quickly transferred to UK Hospital ICU for treatment of streptococcal toxic shock. There, she unexpectedly passed away from the complications of shock and organ failure.
Please keep her husband and children in your hearts, thoughts, and prayers. This collection will go directly to them to use in any way Jeff needs in the days, weeks, and months ahead. Jeff, your Little League family is thinking of you during this difficult time.
