Jeffery's Journey through Bacterial Meningitis

Dear friends. We have had many of you ask how they can help since our youngest child acquired Bacterial Meningitis and had to be flown to Minneapolis for Intensive Care Treatment.

Jeffrey is our 21 months old delightful little boy. He had a fall while playing that resulted in a tear in the membrane that guards the brain from the nasal passages. This allowed access for the bacteria to enter the brain and the infection became serious. After preliminary tests and scans, pus was found in front of the left side of the brain, meaning surgery was necessary. That surgery was done on September 29 and we are now praying for a speedy recovery. We are soooo thankful for the many people that have been praying for our son, even many that do not know him. We are so blessed with friends that have already stepped in to help with hotels and taking care of the 4 oldest children. That has been amazing.

At this moment we have no idea what costs will be incurred from all this but our life is put on hold. Our home is in Florida and we are now delayed in Minnesota. At the moment our expenses consist of the normal living expenses and the bills that will continue to come in regardless of where we are. The actual medical bills are unknown to us at this time. But, since we have been approached by friends as to how they can help, we are opening this account. We are grateful for any help, and continue to ask for prayer for the speedy recovery of our little boy. May God bless you! We will close the account when we know where we stand.
