Jazzy Jan Loe's House Fire Fund
Jazzy Jan, guitarist, bassist and vocalist, is a fixture of local music, supporting up and coming musicians and bands in the area through her work teaching, hosting open mics and performing in the North Jersey area. Hailing from Texas, singer/songwriter Jazzy Jan Loe performs in the style of Micheal Hedges and Leo Kotke.
Jazzy Jan has composed jazz instrumentals which appeared on the television and an avant-garde oratorio performed at Montclair's Outpost in the Burbs.
Ms. Loe has performed at the Smithsonian and many Jazz and folk venues across the country such as Club Bene and Trumpets Jazz Club. She appeared as Henny Penny in the NY premiere of the children's opera Chicken Little. Jazzy Jan is currently a voice, piano and guitar instructor in Northern New Jersey and now hosts Open Mic with Jazzy Jan at Jiggs' Music Saloon every Tuesday and Thursday.
Jazzy Jan lost her home early this morning to a house fire. Sadly, she also lost five of her beloved cats in addition to all her clothes, car and possessions: guitars, recording equipment, artwork and art supplies. Help us make her whole again.
