Jays Football Wheelchair

Hello, my name is Jay Pickston and I was born with a condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. This means I have never been able to walk or stand and rely on an electric wheelchair to do daily tasks. Despite this, I am an outgoing confident person currently at college and with plans on studying law at university. My biggest passion is wheelchair football as I have been a massive Man Utd fan all my life and therefore always wanted to play football. Powerchair football allows me to fulfil this

dream. However, the reason I am fundraising is because I would like to take my football passion to the next level. Recently I participated in an England emerging talent program and if I do end up going to university I will have to leave my current club being Manchester City (yes I am a United fan playing for city ) and go to a new club meaning I will need my own chair. Also I would truly say this chair would greatly increase my mental wellbeing as it is my biggest passion and pass time therefore getting the correct chair that most of my peers have would be fantastic. The problem being, these chairs cost around £10,000 each and this is the reason for the funds as I am unable to financially achieve all of this sum myself.
