Jaye is a friend, mother, teacher and inspiration of strength to all who know her.  She was originally diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, yet after treatment and surgery, the cancer advanced to stage 4.  If this is not challenging enough, the TUSD Governing Board did not approve her request to extend her medical leave where she has been a teacher for over 24 years.  This has caused her to loose her medical insurance  along with no income.  She has been struggling to recover her insurance, even though she has over 1000 hours of sick leave still available.  Just this week she had to return back to the classroom in order for TUSD to reinstate her medical insurance next month.  She needs the support of friends, family, peers and students as she beats the cancer.  Please share words of encouragement and financial support to help can pay for insurance, medical treatment and unforeseen needs she may encounter from the side effects of the treatment.   We love you Jaye and want to give you peace of mind, so you can focus on beating cancer.
