Sadly, this past weekend, we lost our dear friend, Jay King.
Jay was a beautiful, funny, compassionate, humble and loving man, who always put the needs of others, before his own. His ability to fill a room with air, with love and with light, was infectious! His smile, his wit, his style and sass, was infectious! A true angel on Earth!
He's passion for helping those in the LGBTQ community, who suffer from alcoholism, substance abuse and mental illness, was widely known.
These funds will be put towards his end of life expenses, $1,300 of this, we will need right away, for funeral costs. However, the rest of the funds, will be put towards Jay's celebration of life services. We are currently working on when and where that will be.
Finding a large enough venue will be the difficult task, but Jay's Angel's are up for the challenge and we plan on celebrating Jay's life, how we feel he would have wanted it... Surrounded by his SF friends and family, with great music and amazing food and hopefully, lots of pictures from his past! So please start going through your photo's, cause we would love to have them presented at the event.
To be able to do this for him, is an honor and your financial help will also be a great way to honor him and his life.
