jax's gender confirmation fundraiser!

hi!

my name is jaxon masada :) i am a mixed japanese trans woman working as a tattoo artist in chicago. i am starting this fundraiser to continue fundraising for my medical transition. i recently fundraised to help cover the cost of my breast augmentation surgery I had at the beginning of april and am now fundraising for gender confirmation surgery which I just booked for November of this year. the surgery plus the cost of travel, accommodations, and recovery will be around $27000-$30000. i still need around $12500 to afford the surgery and recovery and unfortunately, because my surgery will be happening in thailand, my insurance will not cover it and so I am asking for help!

i have wanted and been planning this procedure for the past 5 years in the hopes that it may make me finally feel at home within my own body or to be able and comfortable to claim it as my own. your donations and support will help me feel comfort, safety, and even hopefully, love for my body.

whether you share or donate, i appreciate any help anyone can give. i am privilleged to have work as a tattoo artist and thus a means of making money, but i would be grateful for any and all help. any donation, no matter what size, is one step closer to achieving this dream of mine. i know everyone is not in a position to support financially, so if you cant, please share!

i hope to have extra money after I have surgery and recover and if so any remaining funds will be allocated to individual transition fundraisers for black trans women.
