Alan and the boys could use your help right now. This fund is being set up to help the family cover funeral expenses and help support Alan and the boys while they grieve. All funds raised will be distributed to Alan. Jason and Alan always made it a point to take care of everyone else, now it is time for us to take care of them.
I had the privilege of assisting Jason & Alan with all three of their adoptions as their adoption attorney and through that process ended up making two amazing friends.
Background: Jason tragically passed away in a horrific series of events last night. He risked and lost his life saving his husband and children from their burning home. Jason R Doan was an amazing person. He brightened everyone’s life he touched. He was a proud father of three. He was a proud and loving husband. He certainly made the world a more beautiful place. Jason always put others before himself. His family was everything to him. He was an extremely hard worker and truly cared about everyone in his life. Jason was constantly thinking about ways to help others, especially children in the foster care system. Jason will be missed deeply by all of us.
