Jason Martin and Family with medical expenses

Hey!

My name is Brooke Hogan, and I’m trying to raise some funds for a sweet family that is dear to my families hearts. We met Jason and Paige a few years ago at Elevation Church in Raleigh and followed them through their journey as they relocated back here in NC. This family is one of the sweetest ones you’ll ever meet. Always involved, super strong in their faith, and all out amazing people to be around.

Below describes in Paige’s words (Jason wife) what happened the other day that has me creating this go fund me.

Scariest day of my life happened yesterday!

After Jason got home from baseball practice yesterday afternoon he decided to do some work on his truck. He was under his truck working on it when a bolt broke free in the driveshaft sending his truck down the drive way with him trapped underneath. Thank God our neighbors came running and helped us until EMS came and got him. He spent the night in the trauma unit being evaluated with CT scans, X-rays and other test.

All I know is God is real and this is definitely a display of his protection and power. It is an absolute MIRACLE he only ended up with several face and head lacerations that required staples or stitches and a cracked sternum lots of road rash all over his body.

The doctors were amazed and one doctor came in and said, “you were extremely lucky buddy”. To which Jason replied, “I don’t believe in luck, that was God’s protection!”

The boys were pretty traumatized as they witnessed the whole thing! Before EMS took him, the boys and I gathered around Jason and prayed that he wouldn’t have any severe injury and that he was healed in Jesus name!! That is the power of prayer and God’s hand on his life! We are just so thankful and emotional today!
