Jasmin and Daniel Blanc, and their two young daughters lost everything when the Redwood Complex fire completely destroyed their home. The family was awoken by a neighbor at 1:30am, and they fled their house in a panic and escaped with nothing.
Despite losing her own home, Jasmin wants everyone who is displaced, evacuees, fire victims, to come down to Mendo Baby, her local consignment baby boutique and resource center for mothers and their families, and pick out whatever they need; strollers, car seats, clothes, shoes etc.
As her friend, I have witnessed the compassion and love she has for her beloved community. Regardless of her own loss, she opened her doors at her store for everyone, not only the displaced, but the people needing to help with this disaster.
Resources, volunteers, anyone needing a place to feel needed, please head down to her shop and offer your service.
Jasmin needs our help in funding her and her family's future. This is our chance to help her. The sooner we can raise these funds, the better.
