Jaqueline McDermott Memorial Bursary

Olivier St-Maurice is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Leigh McDermott.
Our beloved Jaqueline left the physical world in early October of 2022. Jaqui was a light in the lives of so many family members and friends. We will never allow her 22 years in this world to be forgotten.

In honour of the person she was, and the spirit she continues to be, we are raising funds for two bursaries to be awarded annually in her memory. Jaqui was proud to be bilingual, and as such, a bursary will be awarded to one graduate from Conseil scolaire Viamonde, and one graduate from the Waterloo Region District School Board.

While final selection criteria remain to be finalized, these bursaries will be awarded to graduates in Jaqui's image - passionate artists, passionate environmentalists and givers of light.
