Jan’s Cancer fight

On March 30th we were informed that my mom (Jan) has stage 4 lung cancer. This is treatable!!! She went in to the ER on March27th, because her back was still hurting and she could not breath. After several people told her to go to the Emergency Room , she had her friend Deb bring her. They did a CAT scan of her chest and abdomen, where they found fluid buildup around her right lung. They admitted her to remove the fluid. The fluid was removed March 28th. The doctor later that day informed us that they found a mass in her right lung and mets on her bones and lesions on her brain. It has been an emotional roller coaster for her and her family. Mom is starting treatment soon. We are looking to help her with medical expenses and cover other costs while we get everything figured out with other expenses. We are thankful for any help and all the positive fighting vibes we can get. Our family will update CaringBridge to keep everyone updated throughout this journey.
