Assistance for the Daly Family

Hello, my name is Karen Allen, and I serve on the Fort Thomas Independent School Board.  As some of you may know, Jane Daly, a 4th grade teacher at Moyer Elementary, was hospitalized and placed in a medically induced coma.  Recently, while sitting with other school personnel, we were discussing how we could help Jane and her five children. Jane’s sudden and serious illness leaves the family facing large medical bills, travel costs for her daughter, Lauren, who had to return unexpectedly from oversea studies to be with their mother, and innumerable other challenges.

We came up with this idea but did not want to move forward without the family’s blessing given their normally private life. Through contact with the oldest daughter, Megan, she confirmed that they are not ones to usually ask for help but admitted to already worrying about bills and knows that every little bit will help.  She stressed that any donation would be warmly appreciated by the family, but that none are expected.

We know the great strength of the Moyer and greater Fort Thomas community and ask that you please consider donating to help relieve some of the financial anxiety and pressure. This will allow the family to focus on more important priorities. Let’s rally together around this family to bring hope, support, prayers, and love.  I know how truly grateful the family is for the support they have received. Keep it coming! Thank you!
