Jan & Jim O’Brien Hospital and Funeral expenses

Hello, we are Megan and Adam Jankowski, the daughter and son-in-law of Jan and Jim O’Brien.

Update: Jan has recently passed. Both of Megan’s parents have passed in about a month. The reason for the fundraiser is still the same but it is that much harder now that both of them have passed. This is as difficult as you could possibly imagine

Jan and Jim O’Brien are wonderful people, loving parents and grandparents. Unfortunately both got sick around the same time.

Jim was in the ICU for over 4 weeks and ultimately passed away on December 18.

Jan went in the hospital shortly after Jim did and with the exception of being home for 3 days (which she then needed to be re-admitted), she has been in the hospital for about 8 weeks. 

Jim’s wish was always not to get flowers or memorials but rather save for his grandson Aidan’s (pictured above) college fund. 

As we all know, lengthy hospital stays are very expensive and Medicare only covers so much. So in addition to the college fund we don’t want Jan strapped with endless medical bills when she ultimately gets out ofthe hospital. 

We don’t know when Jan will get out of the hospital but her bills as well as Jim’s are mounting as we speak.
