The James L. Sherrill Fund
Don protégé
Our dear friend James Sherrill is a young man who has dedicated his life to helping others and continues to inspire anyone and everyone he comes into contact with. Selfless, driven, passionate and full of life are just a few things that describe James and his fervor to lead a life filled with service to those in need.
His education has led him to not one but three degrees in his field; he's currently studying for a Master's in his field as well. Additionally, he recently earned his RN license (a dream inspired by his grandmother who is a retired nurse) and works at two facilities in the NY/NJ metro area, one of which he works per diem.
On Sunday April 8th, James was severely injured in a horrific car accident and has been hospitalized. He was rushed to Westchester University Medical Center and is in the Trauma ICU, he has suffered traumatic injuries to both his lungs, brain and internal organs that has left him severely compromised. On behalf of his family, his close friends and colleagues would like to help out and try to lighten the load for them in any way possible.
As we all know this is a great burden on his family emotionally and financially so we have created this campaign in hopes that we can aid in any medical costs including future rehabilitation to get our friend back on his feet.

UPDATE: James’ sister Petra will be the beneficiary of these funds on James’ behalf and will be handling payments for rehabilitation at Kessler.
