December 24, 2017 6:50 pm life changed for so many of us forever. Jimmy Addington with his son Phoenix were on there way home from the best day ever! Arizona Cardinals won the last game of the season and Jimmy and phoenix's first NFL game, Jimmys good friend had surprised them with tickets Jimmy had been trying to win all week! It was a dream come true for them that ended in tragedy, Approximately 20 seconds from home Jimmys friend it the washboard road too fast and lost control, Our 13 year old son Phoenix was wearing his seatbelt and thank God escaped with minor injuries as well as the driver and dog that was in the vehicle.

Jimmy also with a seatbelt  was ejected from the vehicle through the front windshield and we believe the car came back over the top of him. He suffered an injured carotid artery and was life flighted to Maricopa truma Hospital, during the flight he suffered several  strokes has effected his right side. He also is suffering from a broken neck, broken ribs, fractured hip/pelvis, puncture to his left lung, a broken left arm and is fighting for his life 15 days later in ICU.

He also has his two adult children who live out of state and can not afford to fly out to spend time with him

Thursday he is scheduled for a second attempt at surgery to fix his neck, we are praying surgery is a success and a healing process can begin.

We are asking for help with the medical bills, time off work and essential needs the family has and Jimmy will need during his recovery.  As well as as many prayers we can get to give him the strength to make it through surgery.
