James’ Top Surgery Transition Fund

Hi! My name is James Pearce. I’m an 18 year old transgender man living in Brighton, looking to fundraise for my top surgery. I have been out as transgender for 5 years, however I have known ever since I was 10. I’ve been on hormone replacement for 3 years and am now looking to take the next step in my transition. Top surgery would be beneficial to not only my mental but also physical health - four years of binding relatively consistently is taking its toll on my ribs and body to the point that I am finding the pain is affecting me even when I am not wearing one.

I am looking for any help towards my top surgery fund as the majority of my wages I earn from working go towards rent and general survival payments whilst I am at University! This would not only help me cover the cost of surgery but also to pay back my mum for petrol and somewhere to stay - she has always been my biggest supporter so it would be amazing to be able to provide that for her as her looking after me is a massive favour :)
