James Nelson fund

We are very saddened to update that James passed away this morning, peacefully in his mammies arms. Heartfelt thanks for all the love and support received. May James Rest In Peace. James was diagnosed with refractory epileptic encephalopathy but only in February of this year was the cause discovered – a gene mutation known as ARX.  He is very disabled. He has, in recent months, lost his sight. As well as experiencing frequent seizures he suffers from a condition called dystonia, which causes his muscles to contract uncontrollably and painfully for minutes at a time. James (who is 20 months old) is receiving palliative care and all monies raised will go directly to support Kerrie and her family (that also consists of 11 year old Phoebe) through this emotionally and financially difficult time. Kerrie gave up employment to care for James full time.
