James Island Family Needs Us

15 year old Summer Phillips is on Spring Break in Costa Rica with her family (mom, dad, grandpa, and sister). She has been taken by helicopter to San Jose, Costa Rica and is in septic shock from strep throat. Since she is out of country they have had to pay up front to receive medical help, as little as there is. They have already had to come up with $5500 just to have her seen at the hospital and $800 at the Dr. before being transported. The helicopter pilot is demanding $5000 for payment. As of this evening Summer has a very high fever, in a lot of pain, and lethargic. She is admitted at Hospital Clinica Biblica. We need to get Summer stable and then to the U.S. to be seen by Dr.'s as soon as possible. Please help if you can.

Summer attends James Island Charter High School. Her mother is my life long best friend. Sherry Summer and Cade are best friends since birth. Please help us bring her home for the best care she can receive.
