James Family, Tragic loss of Mother
Donation protected
Due to a psychotic episode we lost our mother, Patricia James on January 9, 2018. The incident took place in our family home.
Our brother is struggling with mental illness that our family was unaware of. Our family was shocked by this horrific tragedy. While our brother was taken into custody and hospitalized, we pray for him.
Patricia James was a wonderful role model, struggling with lupus and arthritis, she was most importantly a loving devoted mother and wife. She expected great things from her four children, supporting us every step of the way. All four children have been valued students and athletes at O’Neill Middle School. Our youngest sister still attends the middle school. The three older children attended Downers Grove South High School. All of them are outstanding athletes.
Patricia’s equal love to her family was her church. She was co-director of a non-profit community service project taking place at her church in West Chicago. Its goal was to
help teenagers engage in activities to keep them safe and off the streets.
Our Mom had a great relationship with all of us. We are a very close family. We are grieving and miss her.
With this unexpected life-changing event, we need to raise money for funeral and relocation expenses. We are appealing to all who might be able to help us move forward and we greatly appreciate any donation given to us. Thank you!
