James Allport Funeral Funds
James (Jim) Allport was a caring, kind hearted man. He was forever putting other’s needs before his own. He served his country bravely fighting in Vietnam.
Jim lost his battle with Parkinson’s in the late afternoon of December 11, 2020. Because of these harsh pandemic times, only two of his family members were allowed to visit him in his final hours.
Jim is survived by his siblings, Mary, John, and Michael, his wife Deborah, his six children, four step children, 20 grand children, and three great grand children.
In these uncertain of times, we (his family) are struggling to gather enough funds to cover the cost of his funeral. The funeral home is requiring a minimum of $4,000, by this coming Friday (December 18, 2020), to cover the family gathering, funeral ceremony, and cremation.
We know this is a tough time for everyone as we wrap up one of the craziest years in U.S. history. We want to ask anyone to donate just a few dollars they might have to spare. We are trying to give Jim the memorial he deserves.
