Jackie’s Journey with Stage IV Melanoma

Friends and family -

This is not an easy thing to do to reach out and ask for help.  Jackie is a very proud person and to get her to agree with this was not easy.  But, I know they could use support right now to take some worries and burdens away when they really need to just be able to focus on Jackie’s health and being together as a family.

Jackie’s melanoma journey has resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs related to her treatments, time away from work for both Scott and Jackie and all of the unexpected costs that come along with cancer.........treatments, procedures, medications, glasses........you name it.   On top of the treatment related-costs, Scott is self-employed and has been away from work.

This past week has brought on some additional expenses for Scott to help supportJackie’s new way of life and make her comfortable when she comes home.   She is also starting a new treatment with some BRAF inhibitors that are very expensive that come along with some substantial out-of- pocket expense.

I appreciate anything you can do to support them with prayers or donations.

I am truly humbled by all of the love they/we have received already.  I am forever grateful for any additional support you can give to them.
