Skydive for Ryan Smile

It goes without saying that last year my life changed in the worst possible way, when we lost a truly irreplaceable individual, Ryan Smile.

Ryan had always said that one thing he wanted to try once was a skydive, so in 2019 for his 30th birthday I surprised Ryan with a skydive! I wish I had recorded his reaction as you can imagine it was priceless. Unfortunately due to the bad weather that day it wasn’t able to go ahead, we went back again a couple of months later and again the weather stopped Ryan from doing the dive. By the time we waited for another attempt we were no longer able to do the dive due to covid-19. Ryan never got to do his skydive so this year 19th August, on what would have been his 32nd birthday I will be doing a sponsored skydive in tribute to Ryan. I’ve chosen to donate all the proceeds of this skydive to The Samaritan’s. Ryan himself turned to the Samaritan’s for their help and I am extremely grateful for the support they gave him, and so many individuals every day suffering with mental health problems. I couldn’t think of a better way to honor Ryan and also give back to The Samaritan’s, any donation no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much❤️
