Medical Expenses For My Niece

Hi Everyone,

About 2 months ago my niece went into cardiac arrest. The paramedics did the best they could but it took about 45 minutes for them to get her heart to start beating again. Her brain was without oxygen for an extended period of time and she suffered extensive brain damage. She’s able to breathe on her own now and her heart is beating fine but she is now severely disabled. She’s going to be getting discharged from the hospital soon and she needs very expensive medical equipment, a special type of wheelchair and car seat, physical therapy equipment as well as in house nursing care (And there’s probably a few things I’m not remembering at the moment). Her health insurance is covering a good portion of these expenses but they are not covering everything and we need help to make sure she has everything she needs. Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s just a few bucks. All funds received will be going directly to my sister, Shannel Cano.
