Ivan the Great needs help

Hi, this is Ivan, who came to us via Texas when he ran out of time at the shelter due to his broken leg. We transported Ivan from Texas to Oregon to get his leg repaired if possible. But when Ivan arrived in Oregon, he was having respiratory problems and is now under the care of the Bend emergency vet hospital.

Ivan is the sweetest dog ever and everyone he meets goes away with the same remarks of "this is the sweetest dog ever" and "this is a once in a lifetime dog". But Ivan vet bills are mounting as we continue to keep him going from a viral infection that is keeping him on oxygen support and 24 hour care.

We want to be able to keep treating Ivan and give him every chance possible to recover and live a long and happy life. Once he recovers from his respiratory virus, we will then get back to focusing on getting his injured leg repaired so he can enjoy life to the fullest.

After only four days of emergency care, his vet bills are already over $7500.
