Islay's 2021 Cut and "Style"

Lets have some fun and help a worthy cause at the same time. My hair is now the longest it has ever been, so it's time for a cut. I'm offering the opportunity for the persons behind the largest 3 donations to have the opportunity to do the cutting! (Hair will be split into 3 for donating purposes - so one pony tail each). And depending on how persuasive the donations are I'm willing to allow these lucky (?) three to "style" my hair afterward - provided this does not include further cutting (No - I'm not shaving it, need to let it grown for the next time) or permanent damage to the hair (so no dies but hair mascara/temporary spray color is ok).

"The Cut" will happen Thursday 2nd December - spectators welcome!

Why?! I've been growing my hair for donation since I was 16 after a friend introduced me to the concept. Even as someone who lives with their hair permanently tied back, I was hit by the idea of having to walk into school bald and how traumatic this would be. So I started growing it and this will now be my 5th cut and I intend to keep going until I'm too grey for them to accept it.

The money we raise will be going to Hair We Share which offers free wigs to children and adults who are suffering from medical hair loss or are experiencing alopecia. They do this with the help of donated ponytails and financial contributions, based out in Long Island they have a "Track your Pony Tail" service which means we may eventually get to meet the person who receives my hair donation!
