LQRV Home Devastated By Mudslide

On December 10, 2014 two residents in Little Qualicum River Village (L.Q.R.V.)  suffered a devasting loss due to a massive mudslide that wiped out their home, while they were inside. Thankfully they were both rescued by heroic local volunteers/emergency personnel and were released from the hospital the same day.

However, they will soon be faced with the daunting task of having to pick up the pieces.  Uncertain, of whether Insurance will cover this loss or whether they will be eligible for Disaster Relief from the government. I felt compelled to "Put It Out There" and see if we could help relieve some of the financial stress, of such a devasting loss.
