Dear Friends and Community,
As I embark on this journey to support The Ehrbar Angels Foundation, I am reminded of the incredible legacy of Erin and Andrew Ehrbar. Their tragic loss has inspired a mission to promote safety and education for teen drivers while providing scholarships for higher education.
In May 2026, I’ll be racing Ironman 70.3 in Panama City Beach — 1.2 miles of swimming, 56 miles of cycling, and 13.1 miles of running. But for me, this race is about so much more than crossing the finish line. It’s about honoring two incredible lives gone far too soon.
In 2010, my cousins, Erin (16) and Andrew (13) Ehrbar, tragically lost their lives in a car accident. Erin was remembered for her laughter and radiant smile. Andrew was known for his kindness and his love of sports. They were taken from us far too early, but their spirit continues to inspire everyone who knew them.
To honor their memory, my family created the Ehrbar Angels Foundation. Our mission is to keep Erin & Andrew’s legacy alive by:
• Providing scholarships to students pursuing higher education
• Sponsoring the “Take Control” program, where certified police officers teach teens ages 16–19 how to handle dangerous driving situations and make safe choices behind the wheel
This work is saving lives and shaping brighter futures — but we can’t do it alone.
My goal is to raise $10,000 by May 9th, 2026 (race day) to support these programs and carry Erin & Andrew’s legacy forward.
Every dollar you give will directly support scholarships and lifesaving driver safety education. Please consider donating — and if you can’t give, simply sharing this page makes a huge difference.
Together, we can honor Erin & Andrew by making the roads safer and creating opportunities for young individuals. Every contribution counts in creating a safer future for young drivers and brightening the paths for aspiring students. Thank you for your support!
