Iron Dog Team BRA
Donation protected
We are a trio of women who have been preparing, for years, to cross the
Great State of Alaska on snowmachines, and now is the time! We are
entering the February 2014 Iron Dog Trail Class run, a 1,000 mile journey from
Big Lake, AK to Nome, AK.
Our team will be negotiating rugged terrain, fierce weather, unforgiving wilderness, deep snow, snowless stretches and extreme subzero temperatures. These challenges will not only be overcome with experience and preparations, but also with the support of people just like you!
It is very rare to see women running in this predominantly male dominated race and we are prepared and ready to represent you with the advantage of our unique situation. We are confident that there will be a spotlight on our team, both this year and next, given the fact that we are an anomaly as competitors in this environment.
Our goal is one of a continued relationship with our sponsors. We are running the trail class to learn the trail and to ultimately prepare for a competitive showing as pro-class rookies, in 2015.
On our website, you will be able to track us during training and racing. For our sponsors, that means that traffic will be consistent and repetitive and your logo and website link with be viewed frequently. For our fans, this means that you will have the ability to be truly involved in our experience. We want to make you feel as if you are right there with us during this incredibly intense adventure.
Our goal is spread the word of safety while riding and also to inspire young girls and women to dream big!
