International guiding opportunity

Hi everyone, my name is Kayleigh and I am 15.

I am lucky and honoured to have been offered a place on an international girl guiding event following a number of pre-stages.

Initially I had to be nominated by my local guide group. Then I took part in a weekend away, with other girl guides, to see how we managed in an environment where we didn't know anyone.

Getting through to the next round, we had another weekend of activities, with girls from all over the South West of England, and were assessed on our social and team working skills

From the final qualifying group, the leaders chose 45 girl guides to participate in one of 3 international trips, and I was one of them!

So what is my trip? I was selected to go on an inter railing trip with 19 other girl guides, the trip is in August 2025 and I need to raise £1,950

to be able to go.

My payments are due in this order:

Deposit-£200-August 24th 2024

Insurance-£650-November 30th 2024

Trip fees-£600-January 31st 2025

Balance-£500-March 31st 2025

I am so excited to see so many places in Europe and proud to represent Girlguiding for the UK. I cannot wait to go and would be very grateful of your support in helping me raise the funds for this opportunity!
