Thanks to all who supported me, I graduated in January from the Acupuncture course at the Chi Institute in Florida! Having learned the principles of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) and how to apply them with Acupuncture, I then went on to complete the Food Therapy course. Many of my patients are benefitting tremendously from these additional modalities already. (Witness my own little pug, Zoe!)
One very important branch of TCVM is the use of Herbal Medicine, and my goal in 2017 is to complete all six modules provided as well by the most reputable Chi Institute. I also plan to complete the Advanced Acupuncture course in January of 2018.
The more I practice, the more I realize there are specific advantages from both Eastern and Western Medicine. It is exhilarating to be able to provide both for my patients.
Once again I am appealing to donors to help offset costs of tuition and travel, which I estimate to be a little over $8,500 over the course of 2017. The Herbal training is quite intensive, but well worth it!
I was quite humbled by the outpouring of support I received from my last campaign. This whole experience has been truly life-changing. Discovering new ways to better the lives of animals is so inspiring for me!
