Indigo’s surgery Bill

Hi! I’m Laura. I’ve had an extremely full year in 2022. Unfortunately 2023 has hit my new family hard. I gave birth in June 2022 and my autoimmune disease has prolonged my maternity leave preventing me from bringing any income. We have gotten by but recently our dog Indigo was hit by a car. She needs surgery to fix her broken leg. She’s the best, sweetest border collie, German Shepard and husky mix. On March 16th I rushed my husband to urgent care and was distracted. I left Indigo out and forgot to check on her. I was getting medication for my husband and caring for my 9 month old with Covid. She was hit and it’s completely my fault. We are in a tight spot due to prolonged illness. I know we will get through this rough patch but could use support. Any help would be appreciated. Any words of encouragement or prayers for our pup are also welcome. Thanks for hearing our story.
