In the loving Memory of Nguala “Gaby” Sodolo

On Tuesday, February 25th, our queen mother Nguala “Gaby” Sodolo unexpectedly passed away at the age of 59 after losing her battle to a rare health condition she developed a few years ago. As her children, we watched her suffer through many medical complications during the last few months of her life and are devastated by her passing.

Maman Gaby was known to have a positive spirit and a comforting soul.  She opened up her home to anyone in need and, no matter how short the visit or how many guests, would  prepare a feast for them. Cooking was her love language. She was also a compassionate caregiver for the elderly. An avid churchgoer and a devoted child of God, until her last breath, her faith and will was still strong.

To continue to celebrate her life, we're asking for your help. We started this GoFundMe campaign to raise money for her funeral, burial and memorial service expenses. It is important to us that we pay tribute to our mother’s life in the same positive way she lived it.
