In support of Robert (Bob) Lamb
Donation protected
On Saturday October 10th 2020, Robert (Bob) suffered a fall that fractured bones in his neck and left him with a severe spinal cord injury which has paralyzed him from the chest down. He is likely to be wheelchair bound and dependent on others for the rest of his life.
As a man and father of four who has already shown tremendous strength over the last few years, after losing his wife suddenly in 2017, he responded well to an immediate operation and is currently in intensive care until he is likely to be moved for treatment at a rehabilitation center. Although we believe Bob has the strength to try and recover as much as possible, his time at this rehabilitation centre will be to prepare him for his return to the family home for his 'new' life.
This page is set up for those who want to offer any kind of support in transitioning Bob back in to his home after this life changing injury -
whether that be helping build and create the constructions needed around the house to make it wheelchair accessible or messages of support for him to read whilst in recovery.
We are nothing but grateful to the NHS who have done a fantastic job in such crazy times to give Bob the best treatment possible.
