In memory of Victoria Miranda Chavez
Don protégé
Family, please pray.
Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit we ask that you accept your child Victoria Chavez into your heavenly kingdom. We pray that all of her confessions are accepted, and that her sins be forgiven in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray.
Amen.
In the very early hours of July 4th, 2025 my beautiful Nan, Victoria Chavez, passed away at the Nathan Adelson Hospice center. Her final days were spent surrounded, and being spoken to by family. Her long loving husband Mario Chavez, her sons, Fernando & Tony, her daughter in law Geneve, and her grandchildren Nano, Raian, Paige, Faith, Brandie, & myself.
There is no love greater than the Lords… & in this new sorrow we share, I ask that we remember that this is Gods plan. Some may feel numb, or like a piece is missing, lost in the idea of life going on & she isn’t here. Sadness is a heavily layered emotion, & despite how much of it we’ve endured, there’s always more beneath the surface. When Felix passed away, my Nan suffered an unimaginable amount of heartbreaking sadness. She put to rest one of her babies & even then, sickness and all, she maintained strength and faith. It made me understand that the pain we feel is caused by how strong our love is, and that love is a gift from God. Now I view it as a reminder that Jesus’s death on the cross wasn’t just about sacrifice for our sins. It was God sharing a piece of himself with us. The love we experienced through loss is some of the purest love that we can experience, almost divine. And it is gifted to us to lead us back to him.
We are preparing a viewing for my Nan fallowed by a funeral. Addresses and dates aren’t yet known, but I will provide updates here once I have more information.
I ask that you donate whatever you can so that we may honor a wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, & grandmother. Our beloved
Victoria Miranda Chavez.
Thank you.
Mario Nathaniel Chavez.
