Sergeant First Class Shawn Green was the epitome of a Green Beret as well as a family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife Jessica and young son Brayden. He left his mark among his Special Forces brothers as a loyal, honest, steadfast and motivated soldier. The 1st Special Forces Group is deeply grieving his loss.

All donations will go directly to their son Brayden, during this time of tremendous loss. While there is government assistance that will be provided over the coming months, that assistance is limited. Donations will provide the family with the flexibility to address immediate expenses and ensure Shawn’s  final wishes are met without undue financial stress.
