In memory of Ryan Robbins, husband, son, brother

Hello, my name is Jennifer Robbins and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother-in-law, Ryan Robbins for his wife, Melissa, and stepdaughter.

It is with deepest sorrow that Ryan Robbins was involved in a fatal accident and was killed on December 2, 2023 at the young age of 43. He leaves behind his wife, Melissa (Williams) and his stepdaughter Meadow. Ryan was the sole provider for his family and as you can imagine, they were not prepared for the devastating news of his passing and the additional unexpected expenses of a funeral. Ryan dedicated his life to his family and friends and touched the lives of many people in the community.

As a journeymen electrician he worked at Oregon Electric Group. Ryan was well liked by his co-workers and known in the area for the many electrical projects that he had worked on including North Eugene High School, the University of Oregon Science Center, Matthew Knight Arena, and numerous other locations around the community.

His true passion was being outdoors, exploring many trails and backroads, riding dirt bikes and four-wheeling with his closest friends. Ryan also had a love for animals. He adopted his pet dog, Penny and the family cat, Henry from Green Hill Animal Shelter.

Our hope is to raise money for funeral expenses and living expenses for the support of Melissa and stepdaughter Meadow. During a time where emotions are already at an extreme high and the family is devastated by Ryan’s passing, the last thing needed is more stress on an already heartbreaking situation. Ryan’s family was not prepared for these unexpected expenses and at this difficult time we are reaching out to the community for help. With the high cost of living expenses and funeral costs, our entire family appreciates you and any help at this difficult time. We are so very grateful for every donation however big or small. I have setup a checking account to pay funeral/memorial expenses from, up to $12,000 and anything raised above that will be transferred to Melissa for their bills and living expenses as she navigates the financial complexities after a death.

A private funeral service will be held for immediate family and close friends on Saturday, December 9th. A celebration of life will be held on a future date.
