My name is Daniela, and I am Mami Toña’s daughter-in-law. She wasn’t just a mother-in-law, she was truly a bonus mother to me. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of her sons Carlos, Elvis and Kevin to help raise funds for her funeral and burial expenses, so we can honor her life and fulfill her final wish to rest in El Salvador near her parents.

After nearly a year of fighting cancer with such incredible strength and grace, our beloved Mami Toña has gained her wings. Throughout her battle, she was truly moved and deeply grateful by all the love, support, and generosity from everyone who helped her through chemo treatments. We will never forget the kindness shown to her. It truly lifted her spirits and gave her strength when she needed it most.

If you were blessed enough to know Mami Toña, you knew she wore her heart on her sleeve. She would do anything and everything for anyone near her, always giving and always so loving. If you ever stopped by her home, she would make sure you didn’t leave hungry. Cooking was her love language, and her warm, delicious home-cooked meals brought everyone together. She made everyone feel like family.

Now, we find ourselves asking for help once more, this time to cover funeral expenses and fulfill her final wish: to be sent home to El Salvador, so she can rest near her parents.
