My Father, Nelson Rivera, passed away suddenly on November 3rd 2025 at around 8PM from reasons we still do not know. My Father never showed any signs of illness or struggle— all he ever showed my family and I is a strong front. To us, he was invincible, loving, and hardworking. He was the best man, the best brother, the best husband, the best dad. He went above and beyond at everything he did, be it his job at HEB’s bakery (for which he worked 11 year for) or a home project. But God had other plans for him— now he has left us to be with Him and will watch us from above.

He leaves behind 5 kids including myself, his youngest being just 10 years old, and my Mother. He was our motor, and now we are here to try to fill the hole he has left. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and will go to funeral costs.

Mi papi, Nelson Rivera, falleció repentinamente el 3 de noviembre de 2025 alrededor de las 8 p. m. por razones que aún desconocemos. Nunca mostró señales de enfermedad ni de estar sufriendo; siempre nos demostró una gran fortaleza. Para nosotros, era invencible, cariñoso y trabajador. Fue el mejor hombre, el mejor hermano, el mejor esposo, el mejor papa. Se esforzaba al máximo en todo lo que hacía, ya fuera en su trabajo en la panadería de HEB (donde trabajó durante 11 años) o en algún proyecto en casa. Pero Dios tenía otros planes para él; ahora nos ha dejado para estar con Él y nos cuidará desde el cielo.

Deja cinco hijos, incluyéndome a mí, el menor de tan solo 10 años, y a mi madre. Él era nuestro motor, y ahora estamos aquí para intentar llenar el vacío que ha dejado. Agradecemos enormemente cualquier ayuda, que se destinará a los gastos del funeral.
