JONATHAN YEBIO ARAIA February 21, 1983 - March 16, 2025 Jonathan Y. Araia (42) Left this world unexpectedly on March 16, 2025. Beloved and cherished son of Yebio Araia and Marie Araia Kashner (Glenn Kashner) devoted and loving brother of Dawit Y. Araia (Tihna Kouka), Natnael Araia, and Siem Araia, adoring uncle of Noble H. Araia and Isla Kouka, and his dearest and loved friend, Elaina Brin. Jonathan leaves Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends who truly became family, whom he loved, and loved him beyond measure. Jonathan was kind, loving, smart, loyal, exceptionally witty, and really funny his whole life. He was just one of those people that you couldn’t help but to like. He was a talented artist and had an amazing way with words. Music was his passion, and for many years he created and curated his music library; he was an outstanding cook, bougie dresser and was a true “sneaker head.” His loss to his family and friends is incalculable.
