In Memory of Jami

My friend and co-worker David Domitrovich has dedicated his life to taking care of his wife Jami who struggled with kidney disease and other chronic illnesses.  David missed hundreds of hours of work (especially since the beginning of this year).  Sadly, early in October, Jami passed away.  Thankfully David has insurance, there are still considerable expenses and his income has been reduced due to the hours he missed.  

I hope we can give David some financial comfort to help him though this difficult time.

I want to relate a story from many years ago that still touches me today.  David and I were on a field job together and as we were checking out of our hotel rooms, he left some money for the housekeeper.  I had stayed in numerous hotels and rarely thought about leaving "a tip".  I told David that and he reminded me that the workers that earn the least, appreciate the gift the most.

David is a giving person, but now he could benefit from our giving to him.
