In Memory of Erika Okorie

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend, Erika Okorie. On April 16th, 2021, Erika was involved in a fatal car accident. Everyone who knows Erika knows she was generous, selfless, thoughtful, giving, and always available to lend a helping hand. In times of need, Erika was always the first one there. 

Erika's impact on everyone she encountered was unimaginable. No matter if she grew up with you or met you for the first time, you felt as if you knew her forever. She brought so much light and joy to each life she encountered and her smile was contagious. Erika's mark in our lives can never be erased. Though her time with us was cut way too short, she will forever be remembered. 

Due to the circumstances of Erika's passing, expenses have accrued for the family that they were in no way prepared for. We are asking for assistance in helping cover hospital bills and funeral preparations. We are deeply saddened and in disbelief that we are in this position, but we're leaning on God and know that in everything, He is still in control.
