On Thursday, December 26th in Geneva, IL, two people lost their lives to domestic violence: Christina Chavira and her young son, Damien Chavira (13). This has impacted so many people, family, and friends. Also, her son’s friends have to understand what has happened. Her daughter, Aubrey, is now left without her mom and brother. As her family and friends try to pick up the pieces, we’ve started this GoFundMe to help with funeral and memorial costs, travel expenses for court, and a trust for Aubrey. While the money won’t bring them back, it will help her family tremendously. Any amount is greatly appreciated. This fund will directly go to Christina’s mother. This is the only GoFundMe.
