Replacing Stolen Cross With Stone

Our Mother Cheryl Seigmiller passed away 6 years ago very unexpectedly! She was loved dearly by her children, family and friends! She was a single mother who went to great lengths for her children and everyone close to her. She had a big heart, a great sense of humour and made the best out of any situation! 

There is no love like a Mother’s love and there’s no pain as deep like losing her way to soon! But there is pain close enough....... Recently we discovered that someone has stolen her metal cross from Palmerston Cemetery in Palmerston Ontario, Canada. This cross is so very special to us as it was made by a dear family friend! It was engraved with her full name “Cheryl Anne Seigmiller” and was mounted to an iron rod which was staked and used as our marker for her until we could afford a stone! We have pleaded for its return through social media. And even though we are humbled by the post going viral with over 350 supportive comments and over 2300 shares, it’s still gone. 

 I started this GoFundMe to raise money for a headstone. It’s heartbreaking that someone could be so disrespectful to our Mother and it’s unbearable to see the pain this has caused my 2 younger sisters and brother. As the oldest this is the only way I feel I can help ease their pain and also give our Mom what she deserve.... a stone!
